Since people are taken into hospital on a daily basis, whether due to natural or unnatural causes, and become incapacitated for shorter or longer periods, loved ones, friends or family have to stand in to manage their financial and/or business affairs.
In many instances the families are therefore burdened with financial matters of which they have little or no knowledge. When this happens, you may be mistreated or lose enormous amounts of money due to the fact that no Power of Attorney (instruction) is in place.
